How it works
Set the basics
Choose one of 146 countries, pick your dates in the calendar and set travelers and travel style (budget, comfort or luxury). The dates drive the day count and the season your prices are based on.
Tune the details
Adjust accommodation type, dining style, transport mode, activities and extras like insurance, eSIM and a shopping budget. Any estimate that does not match your plan can be overridden with your own number.

Methodology and data sources
A trip budget is only useful when it includes the costs you forget. That is the design of this calculator: 13 cost categories per trip, priced per country and per city, with the boring lines (transfers, tipping, ATM fees) built in instead of bolted on.
How the estimates work
Each of the 146 countries carries its own 2026 price set in USD, compiled from Numbeo, Booking.com, Google Flights and Wise: accommodation across 7 types, dining across 4 styles, 5 local transport modes, 11 activity types, visa fees, insurance and eSIM. 749 cities have their own price multiplier relative to the country base, so a Phuket trip prices differently from a Chiang Mai trip. Group logic is built in: shared rides reduce per-person transport cost and rooms are counted at two travelers per room unless you change it.
Your dates change the price
The date picker is not decoration. Your trip dates set the day count and the travel months; each country has monthly season multipliers that adjust accommodation prices, and flights get a 15% surcharge in that country’s peak months. The same trip in May and in August can come back with a visibly different total.

2Where do the prices come from?
Each country carries a 2026 price set in USD compiled from Numbeo, Booking.com, Google Flights and Wise, with 749 cities priced via their own multiplier. They are planning estimates, not live quotes: use them to size the trip, then check current rates for your dates.
3Can I change the numbers if I know my costs?
Yes. Every line item accepts a manual override: already booked a flight or a villa, type in the real price and the total updates. Overrides are saved in the shareable URL.
